My name is Kelly Pedana and I am lucky enough to be the reading specialist here at James Monroe Elementary School.  I have the privilege of supporting and promoting literacy for the students, teachers and parents in this great community.  Over the past 15 years I have been fortunate enough to teach children in kindergarten, grades 1, 3 and 4. These experiences have given me the unique opportunity to really dig deeply into the curriculum at each grade level and to develop a deeper understanding of child development at each stage.
