Hello, my name is Mrs. Sanchez and I am the General/Vocal Music Teacher at James Monroe Elementary School. Throughout your child's elementary years, they will be learning the foundation of music. Some topics we will be covering are reading musical rhythms and melodies, composing music, internalizing steady beat and rhythm, analyzing and listening to music, and identifying and categorizing musical instruments, just to name a few! I look forward to teaching your child and to a wonderful school year!
